Jordi Canudas is a London-based designer who released a strikingly stylish collection of spherical lamps. While the top of the product is made out of glass, the sphere is supported by a slick cylindrical stand created with brass. The silhouette is clean, modern and elegant.
Dubbed 'Dipping Light,' the name of Jordi Canudas' capsule refers to the technique he used to reach the colorful aesthetic of the spherical lamps. Each fixture boasts a vibrant presence that goes from a saturated hue to a more diluted one. The gradient was achieved through the dipping of the spherical lamps in color. Jordi Canudas did that three times to reach the desired appearance.
The contemporary spherical lamp silhouettes are debuted at Stockholm Design Week.
