The Specialized fUCI is a road race bike that doesn't look like a road race bike -- and that's the whole point. Designed by Specialized's Creative Director Robert Egger, he set his eyes on the International Cycling Union - known as the UCI -- with this new view of competition bikes.
The Specialized fUCI breaks the current mold by "expanding the size of the wheels, tubing, and the notion of aerodynamic advantage, even creating a space for storage and a smartphone," writes Freshness Mag. With an overall futuristic aesthetic, it might not be wildly successful at first, but it does touch on the look of the light cycles from TRON: Legacy. That can only mean good things.
