This Spanish World Cup ad is one of the more interesting and original ad campaigns leading up to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. The ad was put out by Spanish communications company Movistar, and shows Spain's star players going undercover to work everyday jobs to get closer to regular people.
The theme of the ad was to try and motivate players that had already won everything, as is the case with many of Spain's players, who lifted the World Cup in 2010.
This Spanish World Cup ad shows Spain star players Andres Iniesta, Xabi Alonso and Santi Cazorla among others being led into a makeup room where they are given disguises that make them unrecognizable. The players then take on jobs as chefs, construction workers, daycare workers and nurses, with their colleagues unaware of their true identity.
The players later send their 'colleagues' a video revealing their true identity and promising to fight as hard as possible to win the World Cup, drawing inspiration from how hard these regular people work every day in their jobs.
