Lauren Conrad's Southern California Line
On Saturday September 15th, 2007, Lauren Conrad the star of the hit reality tv show, The Hills, officially launched her "Southern California" inspired designer collection. Not yet available in stores, her line is only available through Shop Lauren Conrad, her website and online store. Here are a few outfits and pieces that are featured on her website(www.shoplaurenconrad.com). The prices for her collection ranges from $48 - $145, her line is very basic, simple, could be worn for the every day look and versatile enough to be transformed for evening wear. LC's collection consists of pieces that are comparable to retailers like Urban Behavior, Costa Blanca, and Forever 21 and as I had expected, there wasn't anything unique to her collection. But then again, this was her attempt at "turning her dreams of becoming a fashion designer in to reality", ironic isn't it?
