Tropical Sour Cream Desserts

This DIY Peach Ice Cream Uses Four Ingredients, Including Sour Cream

This simple recipe from Food52 makes a delicious peach-flavored sour cream dessert. There are only four ingredients in the entire recipe including the strange use of sour cream.

Sour cream is well known for its pairing with tacos and nachos but this tropical dessert calls for two cups of it. Sour cream is combined with a cup of sugar, a dash of lemon and three peeled and diced peaches. Once these ingredients are combined and blended it all gets poured into a container, which is covered and placed in the freezer.

After four hours, the treat can be removed, broken up, blended again and placed back in the freezer. The sour cream dessert should be left overnight so it is perfectly frozen and ready for the next day.
