Many seem to worship technology these days, and the Sound Shrine finally lets those people pay proper respect to their electronic deities. Taking inspiration from temples and shrines, as well as ornate Faberge eggs, Bavarian photographer Georg Dinkel fabricated the 'TonSchrein,' which translates from Bavarian to "Sound Shrine."
Dinkel created the Sound Shrine using polymer clay painted with metallic paint. The dock is built for the iPad and features a 2.1 sound system. Dinkel has also created a dock that is built for the iPod Nano. The iPod Nano hides behind double doors at the top of the structure.
Unfortunately, Dinkel created this as a private project just for himself, which means you can't buy this anywhere. Maybe, if we all pray hard enough to the tech gods, they can make him change his mind.
