The Solar Odyssey is a groundbreaking new trimaran from Lemer Pax, designed to cruise the oceans of the world in eco-friendly style. Lemer Pax's trimaran is powered 100 percent by the sun and emits zero emissions.
The Solar Odyssey is perhaps the greenest boat on the water as it is solar-powered and is made from recycled boat parts. The trimaran measures 60-feet and is covered with 1,184 square-feet of solar panels. The Odyssey's unique design lets it slice through the water at 33 knots, a speed which I'm assuming is extremely quick for trimarans. The Lemer Pax team has already unveiled the Solar Odyssey and is prepping it for a possible trip across the globe.
