Measuring 260 square meters, Snug Architects' Hampshire house project was designed for an artist resident and boasts a raw and natural aesthetic. The project was lead by Snug Architects' Design Director Paul Bulkeley and boasts "two pitched roof structures connected by a single-storey glass pavilion, making reference to the vernacular rural forms." These design details are a direct reflection of its surrounding greenery and natural landscape.
Surrounded by two national parks, the home features Kebony timber cladding, a material known as a sustainable option that is also durable and long-lasting. The material boasts a silver-tone shade mimicking birch trees in the home's vicinity and is juxtaposed with warmer wood finishes that can be seen throughout the home's interior.
