Parisian design label Moustache created a lamp for French national railway service SNCF. To celebrate the new light, Moustache dropped a series of promotional videos featuring furry characters to showcase the new lamps that are readily available for purchase. The lights were developed by Ionna Vautrin, and feature a tall stem foundation with two lights on each side. The original model was first created for passenger cars by Saguez & Partners in 2016, and now Moustache reworked its form to be suited for home environments.
The newest iteration made its debut earlier this month at Milan Design Week at Spazio Rossana Orlandi. Moustache claims that it is the first piece ever created for a French train that has been adapted to be suitable for domestic use. The lights sit on a cylindrical base and the two round lights on top of the stem form a "T" shape. The body of the lamp is constructed from aluminum and is available in either white, khaki, blue, anthracite or red.
