Appliance manufacturer Haier recently unveiled a range of new products like smart washing machines as part of its vision for "the Internet of Clothing."
The Leader 2 washing machine is an appliance that's supported by an artificial intelligence virtual laundry assistant that's able to make recommendations for fabric care and different machine settings. Notably, this appliance can work without access to the Internet. The next-gen smart laundry machine also boasts anti-mold and 3D shower washing technology to provide a deep clean.
At the Haier 2019 Washing and Fabric Caring Industry Strategy Launch Event in China, Haier introduced other innovations like an ultra-sonic air-washing machine, the world's first outer-drum-free washing machine and the Casarte fusion washing + care machine specifically for luxury items.
