Echo Living recently constructed this small home on wheels for a yoga teacher who takes up residence on the Greek island of Crete for part of the year.
The small prefabricated home was completed in Scotland before it was shipped to the site, alongside olive trees and a picturesque view of the sea. In order to minimize its impact on the environment, the structure required wheels, which also makes it a flexible place to dwell should the need to move arise. The home is completely off the grid, since it is solar-powered and self-sustaining.
The home is separated into two distinct spaces—a living area and a bathroom area, which can be accessed from a walkway in between. The inside of the home features all the amenities that could possibly be needed.
