This skinny house structure by Dutch studio Ana Rocha Architecture is located in Almere Poort in the Netherlands. The uniform wooden framework was built in only two days and it is the definition of compact housing as it "occupies less space than a double parking slot," as Dezeen describes.
The slabbed facade is made out of Ayous hardwood, while the interior is lined with birch panels, alongside space-saving furniture made from birch plywood. The exterior's vertical unity and uniformity are only broken by the square-shaped windows. The property of the Dutch skinny house offers 50 square meters of livable space. Entering into the field of micro home abodes, the skinny house by Ana Rocha Architecture is definitely an impressively compact design.
