The design team at Fernando and Humberto Campana recently put together a new Aesop skincare counter location in São Paulo, Brazil that creatively takes on the aesthetic of a house. The space is inviting, warm and charming with the aesthetic of an open-concept loft that leads shoppers through a common area, kitchen and backyard.
The space is located in the Jardim América area in a low-rise shop that is set up with the layout of a home. The front features an uninterrupted room with shelving along the sides and counter tops throughout that replicate the look of a kitchen. The wooden detailing draws upon local artistry and architecture that is paired with the use of natural materials such as wood and concrete. The space then leads to a backyard courtyard.
