The 'Skai' electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) air taxi is a revolutionary vehicle that would transform transportation capabilities and dramatically curb the emissions of airborne solutions. The vehicle is powered by hydrogen, which makes the emissions nothing more than simple water vapor, 95% reusable and 99% recyclable to eliminate the need for gas-powered alternatives. The unit provides an approximate flying range of 400 miles for up to six passengers and is also outfitted with 5G WiFi to keep flyers connected at all times during the flight.
The 'Skai' eVTOL has been developed by Alaka’i Technologies and Designworks, and is crafted from a carbon composite that enables it to be rigid yet flexible. The vehicle was unveiled in Los Angeles and is pending FAA approval.
