Love Magazine debuted a few days ago with the cherubic (and naked) Beth Ditto on the front cover.
The edgy glossy promises a full gamut of fashion, style and indulgent off-the-hook photography; editor-in-chief Katie Grand has also pledged a ban on size-zero models and a shift away from hyper-airbrushed images. We’ll have to wait and see about that.
Meanwhile, the "Damsel in Distress" photos depict a scantily-clad, disheveled and soot-covered Missy Rayder who is wearing a blood red little number with impeccably clean matching designer shoes. The scene shows Missy being rescued from what one assumes is a fire by a buff male model. The second image shows another piece in the magazine featuring model Erin Wasson.
