ENA Ltd. is having some fun with the popularity of Pokémon Go by launching a singles mixer by the name of Pokémon Gokon—"Gokon" is a clever play on the Japanese word for "matchmaking event."
The first Pokémon Gokon of its kind is set to launch at Hibiya Park in Tokyo, Japan and help people connect over a mutual love of the augmented reality anime game. Following this, a few more Pokémon Gokon matchmaking events of this kind are set to roll out across Tokyo throughout the summer. Attendees will be "digitally marked" in order to make it easy for other single players to find them while playing the game and following the event, people will gather for drinks.
Pokémon Go has created tons of new business opportunities for businesses and individuals who are willing to act quickly inside and outside of their respective industries.
