CC Arquitectos designed the 'El Mirador House,' an impressive single bedroom property located in Mexico.
The home is located at the edge of the site, offering stunning views of the lake and forest. The home respects, as well as appreciates, the natural surroundings by being carefully positioned and using materials from the area, so as not to be physically or visually obtrusive. The home is ultimately comprised of wooden and steel beams, with the retaining walls constructed from stones sourced from the area.
Inside, the family room opens out towards the main terrace, creating a social area with a blended indoor/outdoor effect. The rest of the internal program is informal and relaxed, mimicking the ease and harmony of the natural site.
