Simplex Health, a leading provider of medical nutrition-based therapies, has announced the launch of 'FITNatal,' a new digital fitness program for pregnant people.
The program will be made available via 'Simplex Wellness,' and will provide pregnant people with a set of exercises and nutritional info in order to help them "move more efficiently, effectively, and freely throughout each stage of pregnancy." Studies by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) have shown that exercise and quality nutrition during pregnancy can decrease instances of cesarean birth and diabetes, as well as postpartum recovery time.
The program itself was designed by certified personal trainer Laura Shelly, who is also the Director of Operations for Simplex Wellness. "When you combine the right food with the right exercise, both mom and baby benefit," says Shelly, referencing the power of the new Simplex Health program.
