Futuristic Italian Farmhouses

This Unique Home Was Designed by Simone Subissati Architects

Creating a modern farmhouse that doesn't distract from the backdrop of the Italian countryside isn't the easiest of architectural tasks, but Simone Subissati managed to create a two-storey home that blends the traditional with futuristic design motifs.

The home is situated in the Italian region of Le Marche, and is surrounded by farmland and fields. Using a color palette of white and clay, the designer managed to create a facade that pays homage to the natural landscape, while the glass exterior nods toward modern design. Other features include unique, square windows, as well as clay posts that stick out from the wall, effectively breaking up the long rectangular shape of the space. In addition, the home features completely custom furniture.
