The Silver&Fit program was launched by a company named ASH to provide new features that will help keep seniors healthy during 2020. The company titled it the Healthy Aging and Exercise programming, and it will be available to all Medicare-eligible members across the United States. The Siver&Fit program provides access to over 15,000 fitness centers, as well as on-demand group exercise classes, health coaching, nutrition, weight control, sleep quality, and stress management.
The Silver&Fit program also has an accompanying app with an online fitness center, search engine, and 35 different home fitness kits. The app can also aggregate data from 250 different wearable devices.
George DeVries, the chairman, and CEO of ASH, commented on the high rate of member participation, "Our members are extremely engaged in our program, with a 99% participant satisfaction rating, but through our new offerings we are providing even greater variety for those who may need or want to broaden their health activities."
