London-based retail imprint Garbstore introduces a special one-time sale along with Shunji Ohashi, who is a Kapital designer and now turned-lay monk. The new collection features unique items that are specifically curated by Ohashi himself, sourced throughout his time in the industry and career at Kapital Kountry.
He was best recognized for how he repurposed garments through dyeing and washing techniques. He states, "I learned about "spirits" within garments, how to respect fabric, clothes, and people [...] You know, everything is from nature, including humans. We [have to] respect everything. This is what I learned from craftsmanship and traditional techniques." The special new Shunji Ohashi collection is now on sale at the Garbstore Selection Market platform.
