Just when we thought we had heard the last about the incident involving Iraqi journalist Muntadar al-Zeidi, who was arrested last month for throwing his shoes at President George W. Bush, an artist has opened an exhibition that invites people to hurl shoes at a portrait of Bush.
For $1, visitors to the Mada Shell Gallery in Oregon, USA are given a shoe with red paint coated sole which they then throw at an eight-foot portrait of Bush, covering him with red paint marks.
According to the couple behind the shoe-tossing art exhibit, Eric Navickas and Amy Godard, the money raised will go towards future exhibits at the gallery.
