Nike's Shoe Dog Pack Recalls the Book by Phil Knight

Nike introduces a series of Cortez that are designed with inspiration drawn directly from the Shoe Dog novel by Phil Knight -- the capsule is also namely entitled the 'Shoe Dog pack.' The range essentially takes some of the concept designs and brings it to life -- made up of three design options in total.

Knight chose these looks for the Cortez silhouette and it includes 'Nike,' 'Falcon,' and the 'Dimension Six.' The Nike iteration takes Carolyn Davidson's original Swoosh design and plasters the look on the side of the sneaker in bright red, showcasing a longer and slimmer version that the one familiar to the public today. The Falcon iteration showcases a large caricature of a bird informed through stitching on the side accompanied by golden trimmings. The third design was Knight's original and first choice -- it features a bright circle at the middle gramed by a blue stripe.
