Sky-Scraping Mural Installments

The Shepard Fairey 'Street Art 13' Display is Dauntingly Huge

As the Shepard Fairey 'Street Art 13' mural shows, paintings are no longer confined to the canvases hung on an easel or to the page.

The 14-storey high display can be found in Paris. It is essentially an exaggerated example of typical wall graffiti, only this piece of work was approved by the community in an effort to spice up the zone and breathe new life into the area. The mural is colored in black, white and red, framing the huge visage of a woman as well as the accessorizing fauna. Two cranes were needed to put the installment up for all to see.
