atmos Tokyo works in collaboration with adidas Originals on the new Setsubun pack of sneakers for the season. The duo prepare a range of footwear that is dynamic and dramatic. The name of the collection, Setsubun, directly translates to "seasonal division."
This is a nod to the old Japanese calendar, where many festivities are celebrated and performed to cleanse bad spirits and bring fortune. The shoes that make up the pack include the ZX 8000 and the ZX 2K BOOST sneakers. Accompanying the shoes are some clothing items including two long sleeve graphic tops that have been co-designed by TAROU2, an animation artist. The first of the sneakers boasts woven uppers of red, blue, and green to replicate the three different tonal demons.
