The SessiO Wheelchair is a hubless accessible seat that is seriously sleek and sophisticated.
Designed by Josh Waite, the SessiO Wheelchair will be controlled and balanced with the help of Segway technology, which uses five different gyroscopic sensors to keep the machine upright and working. Inspired by Oscar Pistorious, a Paralympics runner who has no legs, Waite decided to create a wheelchair that was more mobile, easily controlled and adjustable. The SessiO Wheelchair is all of that and more.
Although the basic model of the SessiO Wheelchair is created using sheet aluminum and steel, it can be crafted using just about any material.
