This Serbian home is located near the resort town of Divcibare and beautifully merges into the hillside of nearby Mount Maljen.
The Divcibare Mountain Home is designed by EXE Studio and was actually constructed to naturally blend into the surrounding hillside terrain. Measuring approximately 820 square feet, this Serbian home consists of two different contrasting structures that have been merged together to form one unique design. On one side sits a contemporary white building with a grand picture window to help filter in natural light. The other part of the house draws inspiration from traditional mountain homes and is made from contrasting black timber shingles.
The fusion of contemporary and traditional alongside contrasting light and dark design aesthetics results in an mountain retreat that beautifully fits into the surrounding environment.
