Selfmade is a digital course offered for women entrepreneurs. The initiative was launched by two entrepreneurs and co-founders, of Birt Morin and Anjelika Temple (who launched Brit+Co) in hopes of supporting the "she-covery" movement. This moment looks at how disproportionately women, especially women of color, have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
To ensure the economy can recover while putting women at the forefront, the Selfmade program offers fifteen hours of live instruction that cover all aspects of launching a comparing including 1:1 and group coaching, customizable templates and assets, and a network of experts to support cross-functional growth. The course will be free for up to 200 women (with an emphasis on women of color and URM).
Morin is optimistic about the future: "With half the world online and so many startup tools at anyone's fingers, it's inspiring to think that now might be the greatest opportunity of our lifetime to encourage women to take the leap and once again grow our global economy."
