Self-Serve Plant-Based Meal Freezers

The Allplants Self-Checkout Freezer is Being Tested in the UK

The Allplants self-checkout freezer has been unveiled by the plant-based meal delivery company as a new way to offer convenient meal options to consumers that doesn't require an employee to be used. Rolling out in the UK by the brand as part of a pilot project, the freezers enable shoppers to easily help themselves to meals and also works to streamline the payment process. The unit remains locked until the shopper makes a payment at which point the system will open to let the user take their chosen product.

The Allplants self-checkout freezer was boasted by Allplants Co-Founder Alex Petrides who said, "As part of encouraging millions of people to fall in love with plant-based food, we’ve always aimed to make every delicious recipe our chefs create easily available to everyone, any time. We’re excited to see where we could be popping up next."
