The S'echapper du Chateau (Escape from the Castle) photo series is comprised of images that look as though there were stills from a new Hitchcock film, that is if Hitchcock were still alive today. Shot in France at the Chateau de Franconville, not only are the images full of eerie mystery, there is also a crisp cinematic quality about each shot that could easily blend into the English film director and producer impressive oeuvre.
Instead, however, the S'echapper du Chateau series is part of New York City-based photography duo BJ and Richeille Formento of Formento+Formento's oeuvre. Models Laurenne Juliet and Fallon were given an old world glamor courtesy of hair stylist Samuel Chikly and makeup artist Marianne Desgree.
The S'echapper du Chateau series will be exhibited at YK Pompidou, Paris.
