Warby Parker is entering the contact lens market with the launch of its new 'Scout by Warby Parker' brand.
Warby Parker is best known for offering affordable, direct-to-consumer prescription eyeglasses. But as of today, the brand will also offer contact lenses. Dubbed Scout by Warby Parker, the brand's new contact lens offering allows consumers to purchase a year's supply of daily contact lenses for $440. Not only are the lenses more affordable than other brands, but the entire product has been given a millennial-friendly update. According to the brand, the leses will be high-quality, breathable, and comfortable. Additionally, the packaging for the lenses will be made from recycled plastic. As Warby Parker's Co-Founder and Co-CEO Neil Blumenthal explained, "We took our time developing the perfect contact lens experience for our customers and are excited to have it out in the world."
