American designer Sam Stewart sets out to create a sci-fi interior for a client that is fictitious. Letting the imagination roam free, the creative conceptualizes "chairs [...] in plastic sheaths, a bed-dinning table hybrid and a bench press." The designs have a haunting and weird structure to say the least. This is met by vibrant color hits that soften the mysterious functionality and curious shapes.
The sci-fi interior is part of an exhibition— 'The Cryptid,' which is located in New York City's meatpacking district. As the location is relatively residential, equipped with a bathroom and kitchen, Sam Stewart decided to arrange his eerie works of sci-fi interior design in the form of a livable room for his fictitious client.
