According to Schumacher's Dara Caponigro, Frank Lloyd Wright is "one of the most -- probably the most -- important American architect," and few with any knowledge of architecture's history would disagree. As such, the venerable textile company has ventured to release a set of fabrics with graphics created by the legendary architect, many of which have never been released to the public before.
Schumacher's recently released Frank Lloyd Wright textile collection includes 40 designs. The company had previously run 26 of these geometric patterns with primary colors, but the remaining 14 are completely new textiles with designs based on Wright's drawings and sketches.
The fabrics were released in conjunction with the Frank Lloyd Wright Trust, and they were quickly approved in order to coincide with the 150th anniversary of the late architect's birthday.
