Employees at Singapore's Kult Office can no longer complain that their cubicles inhibit their creativity. Their new office digs were created by Farmwork architects, who used the influx of ideas fostered within a classroom setting to inspire their laboratory office design.
Rather than cold, faceless cubicles, Kult Office staff work at rows of lab benches. Public spaces like the entrance and pantry mimic gas extract chambers, and the room's light comes from a ceiling installation comprised of test tubes. And on the office shelves, magazines, books and binders are flanked by vials, beakers and pipettes filled with colored liquid.
Fittingly, the new office site was a former school, which contributes to the theme of organic learning within a classroom. The design also honors Kult Office's unique and experimental work as a PR and advertising agency.
