Lightweight, packable meals made for camping, hiking and backpacking are unparalleled when it comes to convenience and saving valuable space, but their high cost can be a significant drawback—Savour offers outdoor enthusiasts an alternative. This design makes it possible for comforting home-cooked meals to make the journey into nature with an all-in-one solution for cooking, dehydrating, transporting and serving.
Users begin by preparing their desired meal within the metal tray, then seal it with a lid and move it to the accompanying dehydrator to eliminate moisture and support food preservation for up to three months.
For the design of the Savour kit, Northumbria University graduate Amelia Cook won the PriestmanGoode award at the 2024 New Designers showcase.
