In an effort to cater to chicken-obsessed Gen Z, Wendy's has just unveiled new Saucy Nuggs.
While many QSR brands offer chicken nuggets, Wendy's is looking to set itself apart from the competition by putting a saucy twist on the recipe. The brand's new Saucy Nuggs take care of the dipping for you by taking the chain’s classic chicken nuggets and dousing them in flavorful sauces. In fact, there are a whopping seven unique sauce flavors to choose from: Honey BBQ, Garlic Parm, Buffalo, Spicy Honey BBQ, Spicy Garlic Parm, Spicy Buffalo, and Spicy Ghost Pepper. As John Li, Wendy's VP of Culinary Innovation, explains, "Our fans have made it clear—they want us to capitalize on our reputation as the best in the nugget game. Why not offer more flavors?"
