It is difficult to describe in words just how awesome the new Santa Cruz The Simpsons cruiser skateboards are, but I'll try. Santa Cruz has released a set of Simpsons-themed decks designed for those who would rather cruise up and down the boardwalk on their board than hit the skatepark.
The Santa Cruz The Simpsons decks come in four different styles: Homer, Duff, Bart and homer grabbing a doughnut. My personal favorite is the Bart deck as it actually looks like Bart's board in the show. This is the first time I can ever remember seeing the Simpsons appear on skateboards, and I don't doubt that these decks will soon become collector's items. The fact that these decks are priced at the skater-friendly rate of $74 should also help them fly off shelves quickly. I think one word can accurately describe my feelings toward these decks: want.
