'G2 Esports' and 'Metaplex' Have Announced the 'Samurai Army' for Gamers

'G2 Esports' recently announced the 'Samurai Army,' a new community-focused NFT platform made in collaboration with 'Metaplex,' a Solana-based NFT hub. Samurai Army is intended to be a social club for owners of the samurai NFTs to interact with each other, play games, and receive exclusive experiences from G2 Esports.

This platform will feature 6,262 unique collectible samurai combinations, each of which is tied to an NFT accessible on the platform. Owners of these samurai will be able to improve their samurai and receive supplementary rewards through competing in video games. On top of this, G2 Esports has announced that owners of these NFTs will receive exclusive benefits such as invitations to virtual and in-person events, Samurai Army-branded apparel, and various other physical rewards.

While Samurai Army is not yet live, the official website for the platform states that the project will go live in February of 2022.
