The Samsung SmartThings device collection was recently expanded with a new SmartThings Wifi router that makes the most of artificial intelligence and mesh networking to provide improved connectivity and expansive coverage for the home. The router also doubles as a smart home hub, so that various smart products can seamlessly and enjoyably be used together.
The SmartThings Wifi provides 1,500 square feet of coverage and if needed, additional SmartThings Wifi routers can be added for strong, even coverage and the elimination of "dead zones." As such, Samsung SmartThings Wifi is offered in both single units and multi-packs of three.
The router is powered by Plume‘s AI-based WiFi management technology so that the system is self-optimizing and continually getting smarter about performance demands and WiFi capacity where it is needed most.
