Sam Friedman's 'Days of Kindness' Exhibit Features Whimsical Imagery

Sam Friedman, a New-York-based artist, will be unveiling his solo exhibition -- Days of Kindness -- in Mykonos, Greece, at the Dio Horia Gallery. The art will feature Friedman's signature abstraction, with vibrant hues and immersive and dynamic shapes.

The exhibit pays homage to Leonard Cohen's 1985 poem, for which the exhibit was named after. The poem highlight's Cohen's experiences on the island of Hydra, located in Greece, where the poet had an affair with Marianne IIhlen. "It is a poem full of the warmth of a summer evening illuminated by the moon, candles, and oil lamps echoing the tender feelings of a relationship that in the meantime has come to an end," stated the gallery.

The Days of Kindness exhibit will be open for visitation from July 25th until August 23rd.
