The Saint Laurent Spring/Summer 2024 menswear collection was—quite literally—exhibited at the newly renovated Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin. The styling of the silhouettes exuded a timeless elegance that only luxury brands can achieve and when it comes to the runway, Saint Laurent opted for no frills. The label took advantage of the subtle sculptural modernist interior of the Mies van der Rohe-designed building which first opened to the public in 1968. Due to these strategic decisions, the Saint Laurent Spring/Summer 2024 menswear collection took on the status of "a modernist masterpiece" and the garments took center stage amid the stunning marble installation and glass curtain walls.
To stay true to the architectural inspiration of the runway, Saint Laurent also placed Mies van der Rohe's Barcelona stools in two rows for guests to sit on while they surveyed the show.
