Saffron Road Introduces Three New Elevated Asian Dishes to Lineup

Clean-label frozen food brand Saffron Road has expanded its offerings of Asian cuisine options, introducing three new frozen entrées from the Thai, Chinese, and Indian traditions. The new dishes include Sweet & Sour Chicken, Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken, and Butter Chicken.

According to the company, each new entrée is made from authentic recipes that utilize the traditional cooking methods of the culture from which they are derived. In addition, these cooking methods are combined with Saffron Road's signature clean-label ingredients. Ingredients used within these dishes include antibiotic-free chicken, long-grain jasmine rice from Thailand, bell peppers, bok choy, ginger, coconut oil from the Philippines, and fresh pineapples.

"As our country continues to become increasingly diverse and Asians continue to be one of the largest growing populations, we’re proud to introduce new authentic dishes to American households, including our first-ever Chinese entrée, which these cultures have been sharing for generations," said Saffron Road's CEO, Adnan Durran.
