Trident Brazil has enlisted the help of comedienne Sabrina Sato in a quirky stunt that involves licking -- yes, licking. This Friday, July 13, Sato will be appearing at the Sao Paulo retail outlet Fnac Paulista and will take on the character of a frog to lick packets of gum from customers. Through licking, Sato will transform the gum into "lucky charms."
The incredibly weird stunt is the work of agency Espalhe Guerrilla Marketing, who has proven that a little weirdness goes a long way -- the agency appeared on AdAge's Creativity 50 list for 2012. However, the stunt also goes hand-in-hand with the brand's previous TV commercial created by agency F/Nazca, which has Sabrina Sato playing a toad that uses its tongue to snatch up packs of Trident gum.
However, if you won't be in Sao Paulo this Friday, don't worry. You can still receive a virtual lick from Sato via Trident Brazil's dedicated website.
