The Saboaria Hotel Transforms a Soap Factory to a Hotel

A team of designers from NN Arquitetura, NANO Design, and Studio Eduardo Aires is the minds behind the Saboaria. This is a brand-new boutique hotel located right by Avenida dos Aliados in Porto. The building takes over what was once the Bolhão Soap Factory.

The hotel has 28 spacious apartments which are all designed to meet high standards of convenience and comfort. The Saboaria Hotel infuses elements to create a homely feel by forming an organic atmosphere. The founders of the hotel, Uri Maeir, Hillel Gassenbauer, and Amir Madeson wanted to preserve elements of its historical value. The two were inspired by the industrial character and history of the located after visiting hundreds of properties in Porto.
