Inspired by the simple and natural style of the traditional Korean garden, Moscow studio SKNYPL created a contemporary rooftop garden design entirely out of inflatables. New Korean Garden is an Instagram-friendly destination with colors and shapes that reference stones, hills, plants and other natural formations. Notably, the large-scale, air-filled inflatables are made from a kind of fluorine-based plastic that's recyclable.
The design for the New Korean Garden was entered in an international competition that called for designers to transform the top of Seoul Hall of Urbanism & Architecture into a publicly accessible space that could share a unique experience. As such, the space is perfect for gathering with a group of friends to chat and relax, enjoying time in solitude, playing or even just taking photos.
