Two Dutch designers, Rogier Martens and Carmela Bogman have combined their efforts to create a unique outdoor furniture set that literally pops out of the ground.
The Pop/Up installation was received for the city of Utrect, Netherlands. The table set is constructed out of heavy-duty metal which is important in keeping it solid as when it is on the ground it is constantly being walked upon. To get the three-piece furniture set out of the ground people wanting to use have to engage the pump system which is nearby.
The Pop/Up installation by Carmela Bogman and Rogier Martens can also be rearranged to different heights of the occupants choosing. Then when they are done with the furniture set, it is easily pumped back in to the ground like it was never there.
