The Talbotics series of robot night lights are a unique way to light up a dark room.
Constructed out of found items from auto salvage yards, garage sales and constructions sites, each robot sculpture is hand-crafted and one-of-a-kind. Each piece is re-purposed old tools, appliances, car and boat parts and other various junk that has been thrown away.
Based out of Santa Barbara, California, Tal Avitzur is the mastermind behind these recycled creations. He puts a great deal of thought and time into each item, sometimes waiting months to complete a piece until he finds just the right items to construct it with.
It is this elaborate and time-consuming process that makes each robot runs upwards of $850 US, a price associated with the cost and effort associated with making each piece.
While the Talbotics series of robot night lights can't perform daily tasks like most robots, they will add a little bit of character to any dimly lit room.
