In what might be the most low maintenance pet of all time, the Robo Fish is now available. Although fish are fairly easy pets to maintain, Japanese company Takara Tomy A.R.T.S. is making things even easier. The Robo Fish are colored to appear like exotic fish and even troll the bottom of their tank as if they’re looking for food. From time to time, they swim up to the surface as if they are being fed. However, no food or care is required whatsoever.
The Robo Fish are battery powered and designed to look like the real thing. They are available on Amazon for $37 each. There is no information on whether the Robo Fish is suitable for fish tanks containing real fish as well.
