Matthew "Wardell" Yu, a professional VALORANT player, has partnered with esports and sports betting business Rivalry. Yu, a former competitive CS:GO player and current VALORANT professional, will work with Rivalry on a content series that will teach beginner and intermediate VALORANT players strategies for high-performance games and provide news on the VALORANT competitive ecosystem.
Rivalry is known for partnering with high-profile influencers and content creators to promote its products. Similar to Red Bull, the company covers various markets by working with different types of creators.
"We want to build the Red Bull of the internet, and that means partnering and working with individuals who are leaders in their respective games, communities, and cultures, and Wardell fits that bill," said Britt Doll, Rivalry Canada’s marketing director.
