The Dundee and Abertay Universities are working with the Victoria and Albert Museum to commission a new center for art and design, with one of their shortlisted choices being the REX 'V&A at Dundee.'
Headed by the firm's principal architect Joshua Prince-Ramus, the unique REX 'V&A at Dundee' is literally a giant habitable diamond that reflects the water on the river it abuts. With an intricate crystallized structure that grows from a tapered base, the floor plan emerges from five seceding forms to a flat-cut top. This floating jewel would add some serious bling to the Dundee riverside.
